Business Process Analysis and the Business Process Modeling Notation

In addition to the UML (unified modeling language), you may also use the BPMN (business process modeling notation) to graphically detail your business processes.

The BPMN – as published 2004 in version 1.0 by the BPMI (business process management initiative) – targets all personnel to do with organization, business process consulting and IT. It simplifies communication about processes and allows for quick reactions to new requirements cast forth by the market.

By now, the BPMI has merged with the OMG (object management group). This merger is sensible, since the BPMN still requires several contextual standards in order to become comprehensive. Moreover, the business processes of the BPMN thus have a direct connection to the UML.

We’ll support your when you’re drawing up business process models through coaching, consulting or with specifically tailored UML-trainings.
