Our book “Requirements-Engineering and Management, which is referred to by many as the RE bible or the core literature for any requirements engineer, is now in its 6th edition. You can expect an extensive textbook with a lot of know-how, insider tips and many enhancements. For a couple of chapters there is additional information on our website.
A requirement analysis is the decisive factor for the success of the project or product. It takes a central position in the system development. This book describes the process of gathering requirements on systems and managing their constant change. It provides strategies, clear concepts and tips for a pragmatic implementation. A lot of expert boxes, examples, templates and checklists secure the know-how transfer into your projects.
The new topics include requirements engineering in an agile environment, agile documentation forms, user stories and how to slice them and special cases such as delta requirements and usability engineering. A continuous example with an own framework story and a chapter to chapter instruction for a requirements engineering guide will accompany you through the book chapters.
