CPRE @ IREB

The International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB) is a conglomeration of independent and recognized experts from the fields of economics, consulting, research and teaching who are all striving towards building a professional foundation for Requirements Engineering.

The specially developed certification concept “Certified Professional for Requirements-Engineering” (CPRE) has by now established itself as the standard qualification in the German-speaking countries, with tests being taken in far over 70 different countries. It is directed towards people who are professionally involved with Requirements Engineering and Business Analysis and consists of three consecutive steps:

1.   CPRE Foundation Level
2.   CPRE Advanced Level
       Practitioner
       Specialist
3.   CPRE Expert Level

And by the way: SOPHIST is an awarded CPRE training provider by the International Requirements Engineering Board. Of course, we do not want to deprive you of our official certificate of recognition 2023.

CPRE @ SOPHIST

SOPHIST has been a year-long partner of IREB – after all, Chris Rupp was a founding member of the board and served many years as chairman. Many more SOPHISTs serve in several working groups and actively contribute to advance and improve the curriculum.

Accordingly, we carry out trainings that adhere to the standards of IREB since the very first curriculum in 2007. With over 60 trainings annually, we are the largest provider in the German-speaking area and offer both open trainings for individual participants and inhouse trainings.
Furthermore, the Foundation Level comes in two variants, both as classic attendance training and in the Blended Learning-form, which combines e-learning and attendance seminar.

External certification institutes conduct the examination. We have a successful, year-long cooperation with, among other providers, Certible OG and iSQI GmbH.

The certification quota is proof of our quality and experience. Roughly 90% of all participants successfully complete the examination on the first try – we are, thus, well above the average success rate of less than 80%.

[ Komfort Package ]

For you to be able to focus solely on your training and examination, we offer all CPRE-participants our comfort package, which means you do not have to worry about anything related to the administrative side of the certification and can additionally take advantage of a free-of-charge/reduced possibility to retake the exam.

Besides conducting the training, we take care of registration and organization of the CPRE-exam. The overall price of the training remains the same as in the standard-variant. The only additional cost is the one-time price of the certification test (Foundation Level: 250,00 €, Advanced Level Practitioner: 280,00 € - all prices are per person).

In Open Trainings you have the possibility to retake the entire training with exam or the exam alone free of charge, should you fail to pass the examination on your first try. For CPRE Advanced Level examinations, this includes seminar papers you handed in. For the CPRE Foundation Level training, you can alternately book the CPRE Foundation Level in the Blended Learning-variant.

Regarding Inhouse Trainings, you have the opportunity to attend an according open training including examination in case of not passing the test on your first try, or alternately book the test alone, both for 50% of the cost. Should you fail to pass the seminar paper of a CPRE Advanced Level training, we cover 50% of the correction costs, should you decide to hand in your paper a second time. For the CPRE Foundation Level training, you can alternately book the CPRE Foundation Level in the Blended Learning-variant.
