This training will provide you with profound knowledge around Systems Engineering. You will be able to gain insight into the broad scope of activities and also the roles Systems Engineering is responsible for. Learn about the criteria that define a high quality Systems Engineering process, and also about the best way to document your results and tasks.

You will acquire knowledge that allows you to define your system’s context and your subject matter for the respective development. Also learn about the types of diagrams from UML and SysML that help you document your Systems Engineering process’ results (requirements and architecture) and which kind of notation serves your individual purpose best. Alongside these models you will also learn about the textual documentation of both functional and non-functional requirements, how to properly phrase them and which means of support you can use to do so. Regarding the documentation of architecture, the training provides insights on how to describe components, their interfaces and the allocation of requirements to the different components. Additionally, you will learn about the most important aspects to be considered when creating an overall system description. All contents covered are illustrated by a consistent example including practical application of the contents learned throughout the entire training.
