Consulting & Training

For my doctoral thesis in computer science, I conducted field observations in hospitals in order to develop a training system for echocardiography that provides users with the best possible support in interpreting ultrasound images. This goal has been with me my entire professional life of over twenty years: Understanding what stakeholders really need in order to find optimal solutions.

As a consultant for requirements engineering and management, I have many years of experience in agile software and system development projects, with a focus on life sciences. I help to identify, structure and manage requirements and coach interdisciplinary project teams on how to implement these activities as pragmatically as possible.

It is important for me to create an optimal basis for a project. For me, this includes a shared understanding of the objectives, the constraints and the scope of the project. I therefore like to use workshops as a method, especially at the start of a project, where all the key project participants come together to define this common basis.

Personal

In my free time, I like to be a photographer or spend time with my partner or friends, cooking, eating out or hiking in the countryside. I also enjoy relaxing with a good book or listening to music on my super comfy sofa, visiting photography or art exhibitions, exploring foreign cities and going to jazz concerts.
